Your privacy is important to us. It is VROOM's policy to respect your privacy and comply with any applicable law and regulation regarding any personal information we may collect about you, including across our website, https://vroom.space, and our game AR Planes.
This policy is effective as of 23 August 2026 and was last updated on 23 August 2026.
AR Planes has no user accounts, no analytics, and no advertising, and we run no servers of our own for the game. Three things are worth explaining.
Purchases. The game sells optional aircraft add-ons through Meta's store. It asks the Meta Platform whether you own AR Planes and which add-ons you have bought, so that it can unlock them and restore them if you reinstall or play on another headset. Meta handles the transaction itself, so we never see your payment details, your name, or your email address. A copy of the add-on list is kept on your headset so that your purchases still work offline.
Settings. Your preferences, such as your chosen aircraft, world scale, and display options, are saved on your headset. They stay there and are never sent anywhere.
Crash reports. If the game crashes or stops responding, the Meta Horizon platform records technical details of the failure and makes them available to us in Meta's developer dashboard so that we can fix the bug. These reports describe the fault rather than the person who hit it, and they are collected by Meta rather than by the game.
None of this is used for advertising, profiling, or tracking, and none of it is sold or shared with anyone.
Because AR Planes is a mixed reality game, it uses your headset's passthrough view and depth sensing to draw aircraft into your room and hide them correctly behind real objects. Two optional features go a little further. Physical Reflections captures a single camera frame and blurs it into a reflection map, so that the aircraft reflect your surroundings and the lighting matches your room. Wall Collision reads the room layout your headset has already created, so that aircraft can collide with real walls and furniture. Both are switched off unless you turn them on, and the camera option asks your permission first.
All of this is processed on your headset and used only to draw the scene in front of you. Nothing is recorded, saved as a file, or transmitted, and we never receive any of it.
Uninstalling AR Planes removes everything the game has stored on your headset, which is your settings and the cached list of add-ons you own. You can do this from your Apps library, or through Settings and then Storage.
Your purchase records belong to your Meta account rather than to us, so we cannot delete them for you. They are managed through your Meta account privacy settings or Meta Support, and deleting your Meta account removes them entirely.
You can also write to us at vroomspace@gmail.com to ask what data relates to you, or to request a copy of it, a correction to it, or its deletion. We will reply within 7 days and complete your request within 30 days.
Separately from the game, our web server keeps standard request logs, which may include your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you visit, and the time and date of your visit. These logs are used for security and diagnostics. They are not connected to your Meta account or to anything you do inside AR Planes.
We may also collect personal information if you contact us by email or social media, or mention us on social media. We use it only to reply to you.
Meta is the only third party involved in AR Planes. Meta acts as the store and payment processor for add-ons, keeps the record of what you own, and collects the crash diagnostics described above. Meta's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy, at https://www.meta.com/legal/privacy-policy/.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We may disclose it to service providers who help us operate our website, or to courts and law enforcement where the law requires it.
We protect any personal information we hold within commercially acceptable means, though no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We keep personal information only for as long as we need it, and we will delete it or make it anonymous once it is no longer required, unless we are obliged to retain it for legal or accounting reasons.
We do not aim any of our products or services directly at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information about children under 13. Meta Quest headsets have their own age requirements and parental controls.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Because AR Planes keeps its data on your own device and we hold no user records for the game, you can exercise most of these rights directly using the steps under Deleting Your Data above. For anything else, contact us and we will help. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
If you believe we have breached a data protection law, contact us with the details and we will investigate and respond in writing. You also have the right to contact a regulatory body or data protection authority.
We may change this privacy policy to reflect updates to our business processes or to legal requirements. If we do, we will post the revised policy here at the same link, and update the date at the top.
For any privacy question, or to request access to or deletion of your data, contact us at vroomspace@gmail.com.
